We should give developers with interest in debugging the LFC classes using Flash Builder, the Flex SDK's fdb command or other IDEs easier access to the LFC source code. Currently you need to have the complete build environment set up to generate the source code. The commands to build the SWF10 version of the LFC is:
cd $LPS_HOME/WEB-INF/lps/lfc/; ./buildlfc --runtime=swf10, or
cd $LPS_HOME/WEB-INF/lps/lfc/; ./buildlfcdebug --runtime=swf10
Currently the AS3 classes a generated into a Java temp folder, e.g. /private/var/folders/dR/dR6cjzr7F9ya5PTDDjwtUk+++TI/-Tmp-/lzswf9/lzgen8685275295813394918/ on my OS X machine. By setting the Java temp folder to a custom folder, and modifying the build script, the classes for both the debug and no-debug version of the LFC classes could be packaged into a ZIP file and shipped with the OL server.
